Happy Birthday Chris Barker

Queens Park Rangers defender Chris Barker celebrates his 28th birthday today [Sunday 2 March].

The Sheffield born 6'1' stalwart joined Rangers at the end of May 2007 having being released on a free from Cardiff City.

Season 2007-08

Chris has made 26 appearances in all competitions receiving three yellow cards for his troubles. Sadly, the solid left back is slowly dropping down the team's pecking order having not played a full 90 minutes since the away defeat against Sheffield United way back in January.

It is hoped Barker, who wears the number 3 shirt will feature in today's home game against Stoke City.

Happy birthday Chris from all of us here at Vital Queens Park Rangers.

Yeah, showed alot of promise, notably in the Fulham friendly. Hasn't really replicated the sort of form we know he's capable of from his time at Colchester. Come on Chris get your place back!
