Championship Playoffs: Have Your Say

After beating Stoke City 3-0 on Sunday, how many Queens Park Rangers fans realistically believe the Super Hoops can creep into a Championship playoff place?

Having placed 35 games, Rangers sit in 15th position exactly eight points from the relegation zone, or to put it another way, eight points from a playoff place.

The club has 11 remaining fixtures, with the last one scheduled for Sunday 4 May at home against WBA. But will that be the last?

There are 33 points up for grabs between now and May so where do you think the points will come from before De Canio can set his sights on a Wembley date?

In only three days time Rangers travel to Coventry City, a team out of sorts, slowly slipping away towards a relegation dogfight. Surely, QPR can come away with at least one point, if not all three.

Next Saturday Rangers visit Sheffield Wednesday (third from bottom) yet another team staring League One in the face. The R's will need to be on their toes to come away with anything from this tricky fixture.

After the Hillsborough trip Rangers have five home and four away fixtures.

If the Loftus Road faithful are beginning to dream about pushing towards a top six place perhaps they need to look at the remaining clubs standing in their way.

Blackpool, Scunthorpe, Wolves, Ipswich, Preston, Hull, Charlton and Norwich are all formidable sides capable of finishing on a high.

Question

Does the current crop of players have what it takes to reach the playoffs?

Technically speaking we're 8 points from both playoffs and relegation, so anyone with thoughts of one, must also conversely consider the other
