Rangers Punt For Magpies Duo

Queens Park Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Newcastle defensive duo Peter Ramage and Stephen Carr.

Peter Ramage is a product of Newcastle`s youth system. The Ashington born defender signed professionally with United in July 2003. The defender who can play centre back or full back, has made 60 appearances in total, but suffered a setback with injury this season and has only played 3 games.

The 24-year-old defender has made himself a real prospect in the north east, and a prospective £1m deal with the R`s would be quite the coup.

Irish International Stephen Carr signed for the Magpies in August 2004 from Tottenham Hotspur for a £2m price tag. He has accumulated a total of 87 appearances scoring 1 goal, that against Southampton at St. Mary`s in September 2004.

He has 41 Republic of Ireland caps to his name without scoring and has become somewhat of a regular at right back.

These are the right sort of targets! Pefect for Phase 2 of our mercurial rise to the Premier League. I think they both are squad Premier League players, but both will be good additions to a Championship
Boxer
both would command and imediate place in the team and we would have a great back line with them in it
