Vine's Injury Woe

Queens Park Rangers this afternoon that Rowan Vine has fractured his left leg and will be out for the remainder of the season.

Rangers striker Vine suffered the injury in the morning training session. Rangers have wasted no time in treating the problem with the striker undergoing surgery later on this evening.

Physio Paul Hunter told the official website:

"Rowan is understandably upset right now, but he already thinking about getting himself fit as soon as possible"

Vine signed for the R`s in the January transfer window for a reported 1m, after a successful loan spell for the R`s. He has been an integral part of the Rangers Revolution contributing 7 goals for the R`s this season.

It remains unclear how long Vine will be on the sidelines for as the 2007/08 season draws to a close, rest assured Vital Football QPR will give you the information as soon as it reaches us.

Vital Football QPR would like to wish a speedy recovery for Rowan, and see him back in a hooped shirt sooner rather than later.
