'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hoops R Going Places - Dexter

As QPR prepare to face Preston this weekend, striker Dexter Blackstock explains why he always knew they would have a 'fantastic change of fortunes'.

'It's been a fantastic change of fortunes for us over the last few months and I don't suppose many people outside the club would have believed we'd be seven points outside the play-off zone at this stage of the season.'

'But we always knew we had a lot of quality and the players that have come in have added a huge amount of strength in depth. The way the boss is working with us now really seems to be having an effect and paying dividends.'

'We face Preston at home on Saturday and, as they are the team directly below us, it's one we have to win. At home we fancy ourselves to beat any team in this league.'

'We drew 0-0 away at their place and we all expect to go one better at Loftus Road.'

'Overall I think we've drawn a few too many games that we should have won and we're hoping to be a bit more ruthless.'
