Nardiello Makes Wembley Appearance

Barnsley signed striker Daniel Nardiello on loan after the 25-year-old striker dropped down the QPR strikers pecking order and look where he's playing today - Wembley.

Looking back

Nardiello joined Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2007 after Sir Alex Ferguson released the Coventry born lad from his Manchester United contract. Sadly, his six-month stint at Loftus Road proved fruitless only ever wearing the hooped shirt eight times.

Since joining the South Yorkshire club in January, Daniel has made 11 appearances scoring once. Fans can expect the product of the Youth Academy at Wolverhampton Wanderers to make this afternoon's starting line-up.

FA Cup Semi Final

Should Barnsley overcome a resilient Cardiff City in today's FA Cup Semi-Final, Daniel can expect to fore fill every professional footballers dream and play in next months Final.

Good luck Daniel.

National Press

Nardiello has made several of today's national papers, including The Sunday Mirror and The Independent.
