Lakshmi Mittal, Queens Park Rangers` Co-Owner once again tops the Sunday Times Rich List and remains not only the richest man in Britain, but in Europe.

The Indian Steel tycoon, 57 tops the list for the fourth year in succession as his fortune rose over the last year by 44%, giving his family an accumulated wealth of £27.7bn.

Weigh this up against a mere £11.7bn wealth owned by Roman Abramovich, and another Russian football tycoon Alisher Usmanov, a new entrant to the list, who is worth £5.73bn.

The country`s top 1,000 multimillionaires are now worth an accumulated £412.8bn that figure rising 14.7% bettering last years total by £53bn.

This year`s top ten is as follows:
1: Lakshmi Mittal and family
2: Roman Abramovic
3: The Duke of Westminster
4: Sri and Gopi Hinduja
5: Alisher Usmanov
6: Ernesto and Kirsty Bertarelli
7: Hans Rausing and family
8: John Fredriksen
9: Sir Philip and Lady Green
10: David and Simon Reuben
