Dexter: Raring To Go

Dexter Blackstock has spoken of his desire to beat West Brom this weekend and stop them from lifting the title at Loftus Road.

Speaking to Icons.com Dexter was building up to the encounter against the Baggies:

"It was a disappointing result against Norwich last Saturday but when you get someone sent off so early in the game, it`s difficult to come back, it ruins the game really. Now I`m looking forward to the West Brom match on Saturday. It`s a sell out at Loftus Road and we`re going out to win the game. They`ll be trying to win the title but who knows they may not if we beat them."

Dexter also noted the change in the team since John Gregory`s team lost live on Sky:

"We lost 5-1 at the Hawthornes earlier on in the season but the squad has changed so much since then it is hard to compare that match with this one. A lot of new people have come in but things have worked straight away and we`re a better side now."

Dex also outlined his recent resurgence in form and how he plans to continue it this weekend:

"I`ve been back in the goals again recently and hopefully I can get another one at the weekend, it`s hard to say why I wasn`t scoring so many earlier in the season, sometimes they go in and sometimes they don`t. What people don`t notice so much is that this season I`ve got the most assists in the side. It`s not something I work on particularly but if I continue to help other people by setting them up that would be great"
