Gigi: Ref Changed The Game

Luigi De Canio was left thoroughly frustrated by a mediocre refereeing performance against league champions West Bromwich Albion at Loftus Road.

De Canio commented on a poor performance by referee Paul Taylor of Hertfordshire:

"We prepared all week for this match and his decision completely changed the game."

"He wasn`t up to refereeing the game today and that`s just not good enough"

Harsh words indeed for the man in the middle, but De Canio wasn`t finished there:

"Personally I feel very offended by the way he conducted himself. His performance was very poor. He was offensive to us, West Brom and the Championship."

"His mediocrity was thoroughly convincing today"

De Canio though had some kind words for opponents and ultimately champions, West Bromwich Albion:

"West Brom are worthy winners of this division"

"They played some fantastic football today and are the best footballing side in the Championship over the course of the season."

What do you think of Gigi`s strong words for officials in recent weeks? We want to know YOUR thoughts!
