Transfer Targets Depart Magpies

Newcastle United defensive duo Peter Ramage and Stephen Carr are set to leave the club at the end of the season.

The pair previously linked with the R`s have their current contracts expiring at the end of the season, with Peter Ramage in particular leaving against the wishes of Kevin Keegan in order to gain regular first team football:

Speaking to the Magpies official website Toon boss Kevin Kegan stated:

"We wanted to keep Rammy, but he wants to play regular football and I couldn`t guarantee that here"

The defensive duo had been linked with a move to West London previously this season.

With Stephen Carr also being linked to a move to West Ham United, only time will tell if the Rangers Revolution will be able to snare two experienced Premier League defenders.
