Rehman To Skipper Pakistan

Zeshan Rehman will captain the Pakistan National Side in the South Asian Football Federation Cup, which takes place in the Maldives.

The tournament kicks off on Tuesday and will contain two groups. In Group A, Rehman`s Pakistan will take on the hosts, the Maldives, as well as Nepal, and reigning champions, India.

In Group B, there is Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Afghanistan, with the winners and runners up from the respective groups progressing to the semi-final, with the final being played in Colombo on Saturday 14th June.

The defender formerly of Fulham, and previously having loan spells at Norwich and Brighton, has made 46 appearances for the R`s, and is set to take his place in the squad to play under his fourth different Rangers manager.

Zesh`s two most recent games for Pakistan were both against Iraq, the first losing 7-0, and the second a respectable 0-0 draw.

Vital QPR would like to wish Zesh all the best of luck, and hope to see him lifting the trophy

hows he done since he moved to your gaff? Didn't have the best of starts if I remember correctly! Oh and what should I expect from Lee Cook if he ever does play in the white of Fulham?

I don't think I need to tell you that he hasn't set the world alight! Cookie is class, here's to hoping he finally gets a chance in the Prem, I'm hoping we can tempt him back, before he gets spotted!
