Sweet F.A. For Rangers

Queens Park Rangers have been reported to the Football Association surrounding the deal to take Kaspars Gorkss to Loftus Road.

Blackpool lodged the complaint to the Football Association on the 11th June (Wednesday) for what their official website described as:

"An illegal approach for defender Kaspars Gorkss"

The Latvian international was perceived to be on his way to W12 after a reported fee release clause in his contract was triggered. This latest development could serve to lengthen the process of bringing the ex-Ventspils defender to the capital.

Vital Blackpool has their say on the matter:

"Given the terseness of the statement as it appears on the official club site and the fact that the Football League deal with such matters and not the FA, is this really just a case of desperation tactics from the board?"

The defender born in Latvia`s capital, Riga, has made 10 appearances for his international side, scoring 2 goals. His arrival on the scene at Blackpool has drawn him several plaudits making 40 league appearances last season scoring 5 goals, one of which was a consolation at Loftus Road in a 3-2 win for the R`s.

It's quite possible that we could be in trouble over this........However, i can't see the FA refusing to sanction the move, if it goes ahead.
