Another QPR Friendly Announced

Queens Park Rangers will travel north of the border and face SPL side Falkirk in a pre-season friendly.

Rangers will travel to the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday 26th July, as both teams continue the countdown to their respective forthcoming seasons.

The Bairns finished 7th in the Scottish Premier League in their last campaign, and the R`s can look forward to facing the likes of ex-Celtic defender Jackie McNamara, and an old foe in ex-Sheffield Wednesday defender come forward Lee Bullen.

They also include international talent in their ranks with Russell Latapy a legend in his native Trinidad and Tobago making 144 international appearances.

This friendly fits alongside other announced including Northampton, Stevenage Borough and Chievo Verona.

After the names being banded about this is a tad of an anti-climax, still time though!

I think that we are looking to get a winning mentality amongst the players. Something that has not really been there in pre-season for us. Just look at the defeat by Celtic? Didn't really bode well for the start of the season did it? I say, give some lesser teams a run, and see if we can't pick up some valuable pointers, for the shape of the team, and get the new players bedded in without any pressure!

That is true, not forgetting we already have Northampton, Stevenage and arguably Chievo in that category. Would be nice to get a big draw to give them some big match/ground experience.
Boxer
But, i reckon that most of our new buys will have that experience already! Therefore, it's just a case of getting them playing as a team!
