New Addition Looks Forward To Friendly

Emmanuel Jorge Ledesma is looking forward to the prospect of wearing the blue and white hoops as the R`s take on Stevenage Borough.

In recent years there has been a vast influx of foreign players into the English game, but not many of these can honestly say that they look forward to the prospect of grounds such as Broadhall Way of a Saturday afternoon.

Not so one of Rangers latest additions Emmanuel Jorge Ledesma, the Argentinean is relishing the prospect of travelling to the home of Stevenage Borough come the weekend.

The midfielder nicknamed The Eel is on a season long loan from Genoa and is looking to impress the Rangers staff and fans, and earn himself a permanent deal in W12.

"I`m very excited about playing competitive matches for QPR, but the pre-season matches are very important too" Ledesma told QPR.co.uk

"I want to show the fans that I can do, and that will hopefully start against Stevenage on Saturday"

"It will be a new experience for me, but one I am very excited about

Ledesma has an option in his loan deal to sign permanently with the R`s for 3,000,000 and joined the R`s along with two fellow players from the Italian league, Matteo Alberti and Samuel Di Carmine, but he has indicated that these aren`t the only players with which he liases.

"It`s great to have Matteo and Samuel with me, but we are one big group here, it`s not one foreign camp, one British camp. We are all in this together."

"We all help each other out in training and we aim to be the best we can be"

Ledesma is one of five players that could make their Rangers debut on Saturday, and tickets for the match are priced as follows, with no advances sales:

Adults: 15

Concessions: 12

Under 11`s 7

Kick off is at 3:00pm with Rangers set to take a good away support as always. Stay tuned to Vital QPR for the match details and report.
