'If It's Football, It's Vital'

New Signing Settled In W12

Peter Ramage is happy with life at Loftus Road as he gets used to life in London after a move from boyhood club Newcastle United.

Born and brought up in the North-east, Peter Ramage made a bold move down south, leaving Newcastle against the wishes of the club and Kevin Keegan to come to W12 in search of first team football.

It is a decision that Ramage himself does not regret, after bedding in quickly into his new surroundings:

'It has been enjoyable" Ramage told BBC London

"The lads have helped us settle in, it has been a good start and the management have been terrific.'

Ramage made his Rangers debut on Saturday at Broadhall Way against Stevenage Borough. A solid 45 minutes at right back from the Ashington born defender before being withdrawn was half-time encouraged promising signs for the Championship season ahead.

It is clear to see however that the team was worked hard in the week building up to the friendly, as Ramage himself revealed.

'I thought we did quite well,"

"We were a bit rusty and tired because we had a tough week in Bath but we tried to win the game because it is important to get that winning mentality.'
