QPR Holdings Chairman Flavio Briatore was delighted following the announcement that Chronotech have joined forces with Queens Park Rangers.
'We're absolutely delighted to have teamed up with another established, global brand such as Chronotech." Flavio told QPR.co.uk.
'They are world leaders in their industry, and renowned for their slick and modern approach to watch design."
'Their ethos on quality complements our desire to build an exciting and stylish future for this Football Club."
Chronotech, the leading producer distributor of watches worldwide have been made Rangers official timekeeper for the upcoming 2008/09 Championship season. They have signed a one year deal with Rangers with both parties given the option to renew at the end.
'It is another fantastic brand for QPR to be associated with, and I am very excited about what the future holds." Briatore continued,
'This partnership once again underlines the intentions of the QPR Board to grow and develop this Football Club off the pitch as well as on it.'
Briatore was already aware of the work of Chronotech as they play a role in the ING Renault Formula One team as well as one of the top teams in European Football, AC Milan.
This deal evidently is not a one way venture as Giovanni Fasciano, President of Global Watch Industries explains,
'The partnership with ING Renault Formula One brought a lot of luck and has contributed to the success of Chronotech in Italy and the world."
'I have complete trust in Flavio Briatore, creator of the successes of ING Renault in Formula One.
'I am certain that his commitment to the football world will repay us sponsors with important results.'
Chronotech have joined others such as Gulf Air, Lotto and Santander in sponsoring the R`s.
