Another International Ranger

Patrick Agyemang has joined Kaspars Gorkss and Damien Delaney as Rangers third international call-up in the space of two days.

The striker was in sensational form upon signing for the R`s in January, scoring 8 goals in 6 games, but it came too late for the Ghanaian international to get a call up for the "Black Stars" African Nations Cup Squad.

Their loss was Rangers gain as Agyemang`s goals helped fire the R`s into mid-table security, and new Ghana coach Milovan Rajeva was impressed by the displays Patrick Agyemang gave in blue and white hoops.

However his exploits did not go unnoticed as he has now been called up for a friendly against Tanzania, followed by World Cup Qualifiers against and Libya and Lesotho. Unfortunately for the R`s the friendly fixture falls just before the Doncaster fixture, casting a shadow over his potential involvement.

Agyemang joins Latvian Kaspars Gorkss and Damien Delaney who have been selected for Latvia and the Republic of Ireland respectively.
