Rowly Return In Hammers Friendly

Martin Rowlands returns to action this afternoon in a behind closed doors friendly against Premier League outfit West Ham United.

R`s boss Iain Dowie is using the fixture as a way to give game time to the R`s captain as well as a host of others before Saturday`s crucial Championship fixture against Doncaster Rovers.

Rowlands, who is yet to play this season following his red card on the last day of last season against West Bromwich Albion, is joined by a relatively young squad for the fixture at Upton Park this afternoon.

First team squad members include Damion Stewart and Adam Bolder as well as Italian duo Matteo Alberti and Samuel Di Carmine. Whilst there is also a place for former Hammer Hogan Ephraim returning from a bout of shin splints with a view to playing on Saturday.

The squad also includes Chris Flood and Romone Rose, who bagged goals for Rangers in friendlies, as well as Italian youngster Christian Nanetti hot off the heels of his brace against Peterborough in the under 18`s.

The fixture takes place this afternoon at Upton Park, with the kick off at 2:00pm.

Rangers: Crowther, Oastler, Stewart, Harris, Femy, Alberti, Rowlands, Bolder, Di Carmine, Ephraim, Rose, Bulmer, Flood, Arthur, Maguire, Nanetti, Ford.
