R`s Overlooked For Television Coverage

Rangers trip to Old Trafford has not been selected for television coverage, as Sky instead opted for two all Premier League ties.

The R`s today announced the date for the tie as Tuesday, November 11 - the day Sky Sports selected Arsenal v Wigan Athletic in a re-run of the Latics heroic victory of 2006.

On the subsequent day - Wednesday, November 12, Sky will cover Liverpool`s trip to White Hart Lane.

Rangers progressed to the Fourth Round courtesy of wins away to Swindon Town and at home to Carlisle United before cup heroics at Premier League Aston Villa presented them with a trip to Old Trafford.
