Fans Want 442 - Poll Result

The results of our recent poll indicate that Iain Dowie`s preferred formation, is the not the formation of choice for Rangers fans.

Since the beginning of Iain Dowie`s tenure in W12, he has favoured five in midfield, including a holding player, which lets Dexter Blackstock pursue a lone role up front, otherwise known as the 4-5-1 formation.

Recent the lack of cutting edge from QPR has led to supporters call for the 4-4-2 formation - a suggestion that Dowie refuted, believing it is the players themselves that matter and not the formation.

The recent results of our poll show that Iain Dowie is not in agreement with supporters about which formation best suits the starting eleven:

We asked:

What Formation Should Rangers Play?

The results are as follows in descending order:

4-4-2: 52%

Let Dowie Decide: 34%

4-5-1: 9%

Neither: 5%

With the international break now over, Rangers can look back to league action and return to their problem of a distinct lack of goals - whether one upfront, or two

Therefore was ask:

What should the strike force be against Nottingham Forest?

I think as a rule we should play 4-4-2, but the ultimate irony is that we would have probably been better served with 4-5-1 against Brum, but we went for it and lost..
