Swansea boss Roberto Martinez says he relishes the challenge of taking on QPR, believing them to be one of the teams to beat this campaign.
The former Swansea, Wigan Athletic and Walsall player affectionately known as El-Gaffer is excited at the prospect of facing one of the Championship 'big hitters`.
'I think QPR are going to be one of the teams to beat this campaign,' Martinez told swanseacity.co.uk
'It'll be a great test against one of the big hitters at Championship level.
'They have an experienced manager, good players and financial muscle. I think the direction of that football club is clearly the Premiership but how long it is going to take for them to get there we don't know.
'But they are the sort of side we are going to face at the Liberty Stadium - a very strong team physically, difficult to compete against and one that will come here looking for the three points.'
The Spanish born boss has presided over a revolution at the Liberty Stadium as newly promoted Swansea continue to confound their critics being the highest place promoted team so far this season.
Martinez has indicated that the Rangers rearguard will be something formidable to overcome, with Swansea needing to be at their best to pick up points tomorrow (Tuesday).
'I think QPR will play the same way they have everywhere that they've been. It's a team that is very hard to beat, they don't concede cheaply and it's one of the sides that you have to be really on top of your game if you want to get anything out of it."
Roberto Martinez took over the helm at the Liberty Stadium from former R`s assistant manager Kenny Jackett, since then he has led the Swans to promotion as Champions as well as a priceless League Cup victory over Cardiff City.
In 85 games Martinez has won 49, drawn 20 and lost 16, giving him a staggering win percentage of 58%.
