Delaney suspended!

Delaney suspended!

Damian Delaney received a yellow card in last night's away game against Swansea. That card was his fifth of the season so far and, under League rules, means that he will serve a one-match suspension.

The suspension will be served next Tuesday evening, when Rangers host Birmingham City.

The bad news is compounded by the fact that there is no natural cover for Delaney at left-back. Mikele Leigertwood's name has been suggested as a possible stand-in.

This very situation has been anticipated by fans when clamouring for defensive cover to be provided by the club - no cover being forthcoming to date!! There are still only 6 natural first-team defenders at the club for four places!!!

It will be very interesting to see how Dowie handles the suspension!

We want your thoughts!!

Shocker! - If Leigertwood plays left back we are in trouble. It just goes to show where we have fails to strengthen in the summer is coming back to haunt us. Full Back and Up Top!

3-5-2 could be fun ... will never happen with Dowie in charge though
