Caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth believes that Loftus Road is a formidable home to QPR and could carry them over the line on Tuesday.
Rangers take on Birmingham City tomorrow night under the lights in W12, a side that they started the month against and were defeated at St Andrews.
Ainsworth picked up a valuable point against promotion favourites Reading this weekend, and is looking for more positive play as Rangers play hosts:
'There's nothing I'd like more than to see a packed Loftus Road for the visit of arguably one of the best teams in this division,' Ainsworth told QPR.co.uk
'I've said it more times than I'd care to remember, but there really is nothing like a packed Loftus Road under the floodlights.
'The atmosphere the fans can generate at an evening kick-off at Loftus Road is immeasurable - it can arguably be the difference between success and failure.
'If we can get a big gate and perform like we did against Reading on Saturday, there's no reason why we can't build on our recent unbeaten run.'
Ainsworth signed for the R`s back in the summer of 2003 and is still Rangers joint-longest serving player alongside Gareth Ainsworth.
A no-nonsense player, Ainsworth`s attitude and effort have made him a firm fans favourite, something that could stand him good stead for a permanent role in the Rangers hot-seat.
