Cookie's Rangers Return?

Lee Cook is rumoured to be the subject of a bid from Queens Park Rangers to bring the winger back to W12 permanently.

The Mirror is carrying the story this morning that QPR will complete the 850,000 deal next month when the January transfer window opens once again.

The self-professed Rangers fan made the move to Fulham last summer but failed to make an impact at Craven Cottage owing to injury and the untimely departure of manager Lawrie Sanchez.

Since then Cookie has made the move back to W12 on loan, making 17 first team appearances for the R`s. However it has been debated whether or not he will slot in to Paulo Sousa`s new look diamond formation, which doesn`t carry much width.

Id love to know hes back permanently but i really to hate myself for saying hes not worth 850k anymore.

850,000 would be a bargain considering we sold him for more than twice that & it was rumoured that Fayed wanted us to "refund" us what he'd paid us!!

I think it's worth it when you consider how well he can play - I think we could be getting a bargain, if only as a squad player.

Well he isnt a shadow of the player he was 2 years back. If he can consistently give performances like he did last night and against Blackpool he is definitely worth it but i just havnt seen that consistency.
