Man of the Match - Lee Cook

QPR fans have voted Lee Cook as Rangers man of the match against Preston North End.

Cookie turned on the style in the R`s slender 3-2 win over their playoff rivals, in what has been dubbed his best performance since returning to the club.

Lee`s cross set up Heidar Helguson for the opening goal, and his trickery helped work the position for Rangers eventual winner. Starting off in the hole of a diamond formation, Cookie later reverted to his natural left sided berth, and looked impressive with the ball at his feet.

You Said

sandydl: "Had to be Cookie for me - not a 90-minute excellent performance but, by all accounts, a great performance - one of his best, if not his best, since returning to LR!"

Superhoop50: "Definitely COOK. Certainly his best performance this calendar year"

LeeCookFan: "I wouldn`t vote for Cookie that much ... he doesn`t need it!"

Lee Cook was by far and away the favourite, eclipsing both goalscorers Heidar Helguson and Dexter Blackstock.

The top three were as follows:

1. Lee Cook - 69%
2. Heidar Helguson - 20%
3. Dexter Blackstock - 7%

Sousa seems to have relit the Cook spark - and Cook seems so eager to play for Sousa in return. And our beloved team can only be the winners!!

Some of his crosses were good - that one to Helguson rolled back the years. He doesn't just lift it , he gets real venom in them.

I think he was saving his best till we actually got him on the cheap from Fulham and now he is showing his full ability! :D
