Fallon Deal Dead?

QPR transfer target Rory Fallon has today signed a new contract with Plymouth Argyle quelling speculation of a move away.

Rangers were thought to be interested in the Kiwi who has also had spells with Barnsley, Swindon Town and Swansea City. Today`s develops look set to quash any potential deal the R`s had attempted to strike up.

Fallon has made 184 career appearances scoring 59 goals, for Argyle he has managed a mere 13 goals in 69 appearances since Ian Holloway brought signed him back in the January transfer window in 2007.

The deal keeps the 6"2 forward at Home Park until the summer of 2001 and leaves the R`s pursuing other avenues to bolster their strike force.

I wasn't that keen in all honesty. We need goalscorers and his ratio isn't good.

I'm not sure we were even seriously interested - think the press were more interested on our behalf!!
