'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rangers Fan Tommasi Leaves Club

Damiano Tommasi has departed Queens Park Rangers by mutual consent, but indicated he will still follow the club`s fortunes.

The experienced former Italian international had been in W12 for just over four months before his sudden departure today.

The former Roma and Levante midfielder made nine appearances for the R`s without troubling the scorers.

He told QPR.co.uk that despite leaving he thoroughly enjoyed his time in W12 and has become a fan of the Super Hoops.

He said: 'I have enjoyed my time here very much but I understand football, and things change. This is normal.

'Now I have the opportunity to look for another team. I want to carry on playing - I'm not sure for how long - but I feel there is more in me to give.

'I have the enthusiasm to continue.

'I now consider myself to be a QPR fan and I believe the Club is capable of winning promotion.

'They have a strong squad, and I don't think we will have to wait too long before we see them playing in the Premier League.'

VITAL QPR wishes Damiano the best of luck in his future career

I go out for the afternoon - and come back to find all manner of goings on behind my back! Cant say that I'm surprised - this was a disastrous mistake of the first order. But it is great news in one respet - it shows that Sousa really is having things his own way wen it comes to choosing the team and squad members!!! Good - that should put all that nonesense to bed now!
