Sousa - 'We Didn't Train This Week!'

I was listening to BBC Radio London on the way home and, around 5.50, they went over to Paulo Sousa's press conference.

It was not easy to understand him - sorry, Paulo! But what came out loud and clear was that, because of the weather, the players didn't train much, if at all, this week!?!?!

It all sounds rather peculiar to me - did he mean that they didn't train all week or only for a little part of it?

Call me daft, call me silly - but isn't there an indoor pitch they can use to train on during inclement weather?

Sorry, Mr Sousa, but that is NO excuse! There must be alternatives . . .

And the evidence was there for all of us to see - again - today. Including that Blackstock and Helguson need to get a run playing together, with Pat out injured for who knows how long, because they looked like total strangers out there today!

Samp99 - the article says that Rangers didn't train MUCH - IF AT ALL. And anyway, who knows if Agyemang really did his injury in a "training ground" incident - the club are very good at spin, you know!!
