Man of the Match - Mikele Leigertwood

QPR fans have voted Mikele Leigertwood as Rangers man of the match in the FA Cup defeat against Burnley.

Mikele Leigertwood gave a commanding performance at the heart of the Rangers midfield quintet in his efforts to hand the R`s a first FA Cup win in eight years.

Leigertwood robbed Alan Mahon of the ball in central midfield before shaping to shoot - disguising his through ball wonderfully for Samuel Di Carmine who netted expertly.

Mikele has been linked with a move away from W12 in recent weeks and performances like this justify the hefty price tag which Rangers chiefs have reportedly slapped on the former Sheffield United and Crystal Palace man.

With not much to pick from the 14 candidates, Mikele came narrowly clear of his fellow midfielder Martin Rowlands and goalscorer Samuel Di Carmine.

The top three were as follows:

1. Mikele Leigertwood - 27%
2. Samuel Di Carmine - 16%
= Martin Rowlands - 16%

Now we ask a new poll question:

How will Rangers fare against Derby?
