Man of the Match - Heidar Helguson

QPR fans have voted Heidar Helguson as Rangers man of the match in the R`s crushing away win against Blackpool.

The victory at Bloomfield Road marked back to back away wins for Rangers and equalled the amount of away wins the R`s could muster last season - a mere two. Paulo Sousa has now only incurred one defeat during his 11 game tenure.

Heidar Helguson was useful in this latest triumph away from W12 as he scored a beautifully guided header from Wayne Routledge`s tantalising cross, before planting the second home from the penalty spot after being felled by Rangers flop Ian Evatt.

The R`s rounded off the scoring with Hogan Ephraim sliding the ball past former Manchester United stopper Paul Rachubka for a thoroughly convincing away win.

sandydl commented: "I've gone with Helguson as my MOTM in my report - cant see any reason why I should change my mind now!

Two goals from him - commanding and confident performance. Says it all!"

Helguson came in clear of the pack, with last week`s winner Wayne Routledge and returning goalkeeper Lee Camp trailing in the Icelandic International`s wake.

The top three were as follows:

1. Heidar Helguson - 53%
2. Wayne Routledge - 25%
3. Lee Camp - 10%

Now we ask a new poll question:

How will Rangers fare against Reading?
