Midfielder Link Persists

Queens Park Rangers have once again been linked with Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson.

Still believed to be a target for both Portsmouth and West Ham United, Rangers have launched a £2m bid for Manchester City prospect Michael Johnson according to the most reputable of newspapers, The Daily Star.

The youngster once compared to Steven Gerrard has fallen out of favour with boss Mark Hughes and has been linked with a move away from Eastlands.

£2m is not going to get him, when talk has been as high as £8m and other premier clubs want him, He may come on a season long loan, which could be best for both our clubs.A good lad lost his way a bit with his own publicity and would learn a lot from a prgressive club such as Rangers.

He last played a Prem match away at Sunderland in a 3 - 0 win and played well but got injured. He has been injured since then and that is the only reason he hasn't played. 2 million? No chance City have already dismissed bids of 8 million when we were skint. It's not rocket science is it? MJ is going nowhere.

And we all believe the Daily Star, don't we, fellas? Wouldn't mind him in on loan, tho - that could be a good get-out for both parties, like you say Buzz

The addition of Miller came before Rowlands' injury so presumably we are still one midfielder short of what Sousa would want. A loan deal would be ideal.
