Snow Much For The Game - It's Off!

Further news has now been made available by the Club - our game tomorrow night is definitely OFF thanks to the weather. A new date has yet to be announced but all tickets sold already will be valid for the rearranged fixture.

The last time a first team fixture was called off at Loftus Road prior to this Tuesday was on New Years Day 2003 when a struggling Fulham side had their match against West Bromwich Albion conveniently postponed due to a waterlogged pitch - a phenomena that hadn't occurred before or since.

Rangers came close to having an FA Cup tie against Luton Town called off in 2006, when the pitch was plastered in puddles.

Shame it's gone to the wall but credit the club for not inconveniencing a lot of people. If it all melts now they'll have red faces!

Dont think it's gonna melt - it's tipping down with snow outside & there's at least 8 inches on my garden table now!! Remember the time we had a game called off coz the floodlights failed and, when they eventually started working, it had started snowing? That was against Forest back in the 80s - but I cant remember the exact date!
