'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ledesma Speaks

Emmanuel Ledesma has spoken of his delight to join Serie B strugglers Salernatina on loan from Genoa after his loan deal with QPR was terminated.

The young Argentinean spoke to the Salernatina official website, giving the following statement:

'Left wing, last passage player. Then I like score goal...' Emmanuel Jorge Ledesma presents himself to the Salernitana fans:

'I'm glad to return to Italian football, proud to wear Salernitana's jersey; the goal is to push hard to contribute to keep Salernitana in Serie B. Chairman Fabiani told me about Arechi, its public and team's skills: I'm convinced of this transfer, I look forward to begin my experience with the 'granata''.

Italian-Argentinian player comes from a championship with the QPR: 'I played 15 matches as first-string and scored 4 goals. In other 9 matches I took over from bench'.

Ledesma will meet coach and 'granata' players in the afternoon in Eboli. Starting from 3 PM he will begin his 'granata' path.

Ledesma undoubted high point came as Ranger progressed into the Carling Cup third round, as he bagged a hatrick against League One side Carlisle United.

He also scored a goal in the Championship, the second in a 2-0 home win against Doncaster Rovers.

Many thanks to all at QPR Italia

There's one reason why he's glad to return to Italian football - It's in his comfort zone.

I wish him all the best - a deal with us that didn't work out (that has a familiar ring to it, doesn't it!)
