Waddo- Pleased With A Point

Waddo- Pleased With A Point

Gary Waddock spoke to the official QPR website after Saturday's draw at Cardiff and was pleased with what he saw.

Speaking to qpr.co.uk he said: 'It was a good point and I felt that with a bit of luck we could have gone back home with the three points.

'I wanted to win the game. I think the way we played in the second half, when we ground out one or two opportunities, showed that we came here to win the three points.

''I wasn't going to come here in a cavalier style. I wanted our side to be compact and narrow.

'When the game opened up I thought we passed it quite well and created chances. There's no way I was going to come here and be cavalier.''

'It shows how well we defended to limit Cardiff to just one real opportunity in the game. I think we had more opportunities during the second half.

'We are delighted that we've kept a clean sheet and we are going home with a point.'

We're organised under Waddo, hard to beat and we were unlucky not to steal all three. Cannot see Cardiff getting near to the Playoffs on this showing.

4 draws in a row, 5 unbeaten- a little like Wolves at the end of last season!

Polter Saves QPR

A SECOND half strike from Seb Polter ensured Queens Park Rangers took a share of the spoils in a less than thrilling return to the Pirelli Stadium for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

While the home supporters chanted the name of their former manager - who guided them into League One and helped pave the way for their current Championship status - the visiting supporters were left exasperated by another fairly tepid display.

It could have been worse for the visiting side as they fell behind
