Reigning World Champions Visit W12

The Italian National team trained at Loftus Road today ahead of their friendly against Brazil tonight.

When rumours began to surface that players of the ilk of Luca Toni, Gianluigi Buffon and Gianluca Zambrotta were sighted at Loftus Road some thought that the ambition of Chairman of Flavio Briatore had rocketed overnight.

However Marcello Lippi`s men were using Loftus Road as a training venue for their eagerly contested clash with star-studded Brazil at Arsenal`s Emirates Stadium.

The match kicks off at 7:45pm with the Azzurri anticipated to go with the highly rated front trio of Mauro Cameronesi, Antonio Di Natale and the aforementioned Toni.

Quite how much playing they got done however is debatable with the Loftus Road turf cutting up easily under foot and looking more like a pudding at present.
