'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Learning Curve For Young Italian

Player-Coach Gareth Ainsworth has revealed that Matteo Alberti has a lot to learn despite his brace at the weekend.

Speaking to the London Informer Gareth Ainsworth revealed that while Alberti is still learning his trade, he too is involved in some intense training schedules.

He said: 'Matti will keep his feet on the ground, despite the goals. But everyone was just so pleased to see his beaming face as he celebrated, it says a lot.

'He's got a lot to learn, but like all of us under Paulo Sousa, we're making excellent strides. This is the most intense training of my career.'

Much has been made in the media lately about the new-found style of Queens Park Rangers under the guidance of boss Paulo Sousa, Ainsworth believes that training has taken on a new dimension under the former Portugal international.

He continued: 'I wished I could tell you some of the things we do - they're magic. But obviously, we've got things other clubs haven't - and we need to keep it that way.'
