Vital QPR Nominated

Vital Queens Park Rangers nominated for several awards in the Football Fans Census Fanzine Awards 2009.

While Vital QPR joins a plethora of websites on the 'long list` of several categories in the Football Fans Census Fanzine Awards 2009, Sandydl and I are nevertheless overwhelmed by the messages of support from Rangers supporters.

Vital QPR is nominated in the following categories:

Football League - Online Fanzine - qpr.vitalfootball.co.uk

Best Editor - Adam Boxer, Vital QPR

Best Writer - Adam Boxer, Vital QPR - Sandydl, Vital QPR.

A big congratulations to Clive Whittingham, BOSH67, The Blob and Tony Gibson at Loftforwords.co.uk; Dave Thomas and Jamie Sellars at 'A Kick Up The R`s'; David Barton at queensparkrangersfc.com; Simon Skinner and Ron Norris of qprnet.com and of course QPR Report for your respective nominations.

This is the second year in succession that Vital QPR has been nominated for the awards. With former editor David Hindle aka 'Hoops' moving on in May it is good to see the legacy that he set is continuing to thrive.

Voting opens this Friday (February 13) and I sincerely hope you consider us when you make your selection.

Many thanks once again for your support.

We want to know YOUR thoughts!

Lap of Onuoha

A NEDUM Onuoha strike early in the second half saw Queens Park Rangers edge out Wigan Athletic in a fairly nondescript affair at the DW Stadium.

A game that never really got going was settled early in the second period when the Latics failed to clear a set-piece and the QPR skipper powered home from just inside the area.

Both sides created half chances but never really got out of first gear - with Grant Hall in particular a rock throughout to snuff out an endless array of Luke Garb
