Paladini Refutes Forest Bid

QPR Sporting Director Gianni Paladini has quashed speculation that Lee Camp could be joining Nottingham Forest in the near future.

The Lee Camp saga continued to ebb and flow one way then another, but the former Derby man appears to be caught in limbo as Rangers do not plan on selling the want-away stopper.

Sporting Director Gianni Paladini spoke to the BBC to tell them that Rangers would have to receive a fair offer, which has not been forthcoming.

He said: "If Forest were to make an offer for Lee we would consider it, but we haven`t heard anything from them,

"Forest know what they need to do if they want to sign him, because it was agreed when he went there on loan.'

The clubs agreed a £1m permanent deal when the loan deal had expired in January, however Nottingham Forest didn`t deem Camp worthy enough of the money and sent him back to QPR.

While QPR are willing to listen to offers for Camp there are in no hurry to sell as Paladini reveals:

"We`re talking about a player who has been back in our team recently and has two-and-a-half years left on his contract here. We`re not looking to give him away."

I would imagine that Rangers are purely playing hardball at the moment, but at the moment there is no need to sell the former fans favourite and Nottingham Forest will have to put up or shut up when it comes to signing him.

I think we're just posturing and we will eventually sell - he's made it quite frank he doesn't want to stay to my mind.
