'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sousa Delight At López Capture

The signing of Jordi López has delighted QPR boss Paulo Sousa.

López comes to Rangers with a wealth of experience in Spanish football having played for both Real Madrid and Barcelona B sides. Sousa told QPR.co.uk that he is the right man that will create options for the R`s.

He said: 'Jordi is a very, very capable player and will give us great options in the middle of the park.

'He can play central or wide and is technically a very good player. He is a very creative midfielder, and we are looking forward to welcoming him into our family.'

Jordi López joins Rangers on a three-month deal and is billed as central midfield that can also play out wide. He occupies the number 20 shirt vacated by Emmanuel Ledesma.

I like this 'family' mentality that Sousa has created. They are a tight knit unit there now and I hope it spurs us on.
