Cardiff Speak Pre-Match

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones indicated that the return of Wayne Routledge to Ninian Park doesn`t bother him.

The former Wolves and Southampton boss spoke to cardiffcity.co.uk in the build up to tonight`s clash indicating that he has an able replacement in Chris Burke.

He said: "That normally happens so that doesn`t bother us one way. I`m sure it won`t bother the player as well. I mean you`re used to it, you`re used to that going on anyway, it`s like anyone going back to an old club will get it. It`s all part and parcel of being mentally tough to ignore it.

"It`s all done now - I`m pleased we brought in Chris Burke, he`s been absolutely outstanding so you win some you lose some it`s no good going on about it, you haven`t got it so am I pleased to have Burkey? You bet I am. Because I think he changed the game for us"

Cardiff skipper Joe Ledley added:

"We`ve got to go out there and try and win every single game from now on. Points are vital at this part of the season.

Hopefully if we did get a win we can get back on track I don`t think there`s much pressure on us because we`re playing well."

Rangers face Cardiff City at Ninian Park this evening with a 7:45pm kick off. Rangers will be looking to get back on track with three much needed points in their playoff push.

An interesting press conference and in my opinion a very good manager. Here's to hoping his side cracks!
