The game on Tuesday night will be a landmark for the rookie official as it will be his maiden Championship test, having only been promoted to the National List of officials at the start of the this season.

His first game in charge saw a Jack Lester brace help Chesterfield overcome Barnet at Underhill, he booked only four that day, but it`s not a secret why he has been whisked up the refereeing ladder in such rapid fashion.

In only 22 games he has already dished out seven red cards two of which came in the same game as MK Dons` keeper Willy Gueret and Cheltenham Town veteran Lloyd Owusu were both given their marching orders after half an hour.

In those 22 games he has also dished out 56 yellow cards, giving him an overall card average 2.86 cards per game.

He will be assisted by Mr D S Margetts and Mr I J Woodward in the evening kick off in W12.
