Vine Steps Up Comeback

Rowan Vine will play in the reserves in the coming fortnight as he steps up his recovery from a broken leg.

In an event witnessed by Vital QPR writer Sandydl, Vine`s leg was broken during a training session in which an overzealous challenge by released stopper Matthew Pickens put the forward out for what is approaching a year.

His return to full training came as great joy to all at QPR, and now he intends to play a forthcoming reserve game beyond the upcoming fixture at Lewes. This means he will eye away trips to either Charlton Athletic or Brighton & Hove Albion to get some much-needed game time.

Meanwhile Hogan Ephraim could be on the bench against Norwich tonight after QPR.co.uk decided to let us in on the fact he has been sidelined with a medial ligament strain.

Physio Paul Hunter explained: 'Hogan has resumed full training and is in contention for Norwich.

'The words medial ligament aren't always as serious as they sound, but we didn't want to rush him back too early and to be honest he's responded really well to the treatment.'

Rangers take on Norwich City tonight at Loftus Road with a kick off time of 8:00pm and Vital QPR is the place to be for all the incidents and pre and post match banter.

One for Sandy that - not a nice thing to see - I think it's a personal crusade that you see Vine back after witnessing that!!

Maybe we can pin our hopes on him to bag tonnes of goals until the end of the season, but if he doesn't... BOOOO! :P
