Reserves Crush Lewes

Queens Park Rangers reserves cantered to victory against Lewes this evening at the Dripping Pan.

Goals from player-manager Gareth Ainsworth, Angelo Balanta and Romone Rose helped secure a 3-0 win for the R`s on the evening.

The game had been called into doubt earlier in the day owing to the state of the pitch but the game went ahead with missing man Gary Borrowdale being described as "a class above everybody" by Vital QPR regular Superhoop50 in his performance this evening.

They now move on to face Charlton Athletic and Brighton & Hove Albion in forthcoming fixtures where Rowan Vine is rumoured to be part of the squad as he steps up his recovery from a broken leg.

Queens Park Rangers: Cole, Wright, Ilesanmi (Smith, 62), Brown, Olley, Oastler, Maguire, (Perrin, 70), Borrowdale, Ainsworth, Rose, Balanta (Nanetti, 81).
