Crystal Palace could be set to raid QPR for one of their young talents according to a local newspaper.

According to the Croydon Advertiser Danny Maguire has been the subject of interest for Neil Warnock as the Eagles have taken the young midfielder on trial. He played in the Palace reserves' 4-2 win over Millwall this afternoon.

A promising young player that was handed a new deal with Rangers only a year ago now looks set for a swift exit should the South London outfit follow up their interest.

I really hoped he'd come through and be a talent, but it looks like he's off whether Palace or elsewhere. Good luck Danny.

Regardless of talent I think it's a shame that we're giving our youth away to a divisional rival, there must be something they feel they can work with.

What worries me even more is that we are giving our youth away - period! We have no real youth policy any more and that is so disappointing and counters what our new Board said they would be doing for the Club when they first took over back in August 07!

It's been better in recent years certainly, the very fact a Championship club is looking at one of our youth tells you that alone. Balanta, Rose and Dean Parrett three decent players to come through.
