Rangers are in the market for another midfielder according to an East Anglian newspaper.

Ipswich Town midfielder Veliche Shumulikoski has been linked with a move to QPR by the East Anglian Daily Times after falling out of favour under boss Jim Magilton in recent weeks.

A prior approach had been made for Shumulikoski just three weeks ago with Magilton allegedly refusing the deal because the Macedonian international was in his first team plans.

Rangers are now apparently lining up a loan deal for the former Zenit St Petersburg midfielder despite having a plethora of existing options in that area.

The midfielder has made 38 appearances for the Tractor Boys since signing in January last year.

Wouldn't be a good signing in my opinion, I'd prefer a striker

Am I missing something here - wasn't it the FORWARDS that needed a kick up the backside not the midfield. Why do we keep bringing in flippin' midfielders and not a decent STRIKER????????? I'm getting fed up :-(

I would like to think this is the local media resurrecting a dead rumour, three weeks ago we signed López and I would guess this lad was in the frame should it have fallen through. Or maybe vice-verser who knows!
