Jim Magilton has quashed rumours that Veliche Shumulikoski has been subject of a bid from QPR, but has not ruled out the possibility of a loan deal.

The Macedonian international had been linked with a move to Loftus Road by the East Anglian Daily Times only yesterday and manager Magilton has responded to the speculation.

He told itfc.co.uk that while there hasn`t been an approach for Shumulikoski from QPR, it was a deal that he wouldn`t rule out for the time being.

He said: 'QPR have not made an approach for Shumi but letting him go out on loan to get some games is something that we may consider,'

'It would depend on the club and whether it was right for us and right for the player.

'Shumi has spoken to me about the situation and I fully understand his frustrations. I've been in the same situation as a player myself, all you want to do is play games.

'He has his international career to think about as well. He's very proud to play for his country and doesn't want to put that at risk by not being involved at club level.

'Although he has not been in the side over the last month or two he has been in every squad and remains a very important part of the playing staff here. I've told him that, and that he is only an injury away from being back in the team.'

The former Zenit St Petersburg midfielder has made 38 appearances for the Tractor Boys since signing in January last year.
