Borrowdale Returns

Vital QPR - Breaking News

Gary Borrowdale has returns to W12 after having his loan spell with Brighton & Hove Albion cut short.

With Damien Delaney picking up an injury there was an initial thought that QPR were calling the defender back to Loftus Road as cover for the Irish international.

Unfortunately Borrowdale picked up a knee injury while on loan at the Withdean Stadium and was forced to withdraw from Brighton`s defeat against Southend United - meaning that he has returned to West London for treatment.

The severity of the injury has yet to be determined.

Borrowdale made the move to QPR in November initially on loan from Coventry City before joining on a permanent basis in the January transfer window. The deal continues to raise questions as he is yet to make an appearance for Rangers to date.

So now we are lumbered with another injured player but this is who clearly cannot make our first team - great bit of skill in bringing him in (& before anyone says you cant legislate for injuries, just remember that he was injured prior to coming to us which is one reason why he hadn't featured for Coventry for ages!!)

He picked up an injury at Cov, but also had a blazing row with Coleman which signalled his exit. He hasn't been fit, but what doesn't help is the offish going quiet on all news.

I think they don't want to give the opposition an advantage to knowing the side, but with the amount of money the fans pay surely they are entitled to know why Cookie isn't in the side?
