One To Watch - Victor Moses

Vital QPR has outlined Crystal Palace winger Victor Moses as the One to Watch ahead of this weekend`s clash.

A young forward who has had a relatively short time in the English game, Moses has proven himself worthy of the Championship challenge, emerging as one of the hottest prospects in the game.

His ability to bounce back from adversity has made him a popular figure in the game, as he moved over to England from his native Nigeria at the age of 11 following the murder of his parents.

Since then he has settled down in England and shown outstanding character and application in his progress. He joined Crystal Palace`s academy after impressing scouts in the local Tandridge League.

At the age of 14 Moses raised eyebrows around the country when the young talent bagged an excellent 50 goals in a solitary season in the under-14`s - a fact which chairman Simon Jordan said had Chelsea sniffing around the young talent.

Still at the tender age of 16 and new manager Neil Warnock saw fit to throw him in as a substitute in an away draw with Cardiff City. He replaced fellow youth product John Bostock with little over 15 minutes remaining and looked lively following his introduction.

After making several appearances following the turn of the year Moses scored his first goal for the Eagles against promotion rivals West Bromwich Albion, equalising an effort from Albion forward Kevin Phillips.

Further goals against Watford and Burnley helped propel the Eagles into the playoff picture as Neil Warnock appeared to have worked his magic one more. However they slipped up against Bristol City and succumbed to another year in the Championship.

In a somewhat sporadic season Crystal Palace have been unable to put together a consistent run of form to be considered playoff contenders this time around. Two goals from Moses have been a plus point for the Eagles as he has established himself as a first choice left-winger.

A live-wire forward with goals on his mind, Victor Moses is a man to fear as Crystal Palace come to Loftus Road on Saturday.
