Vieri Linked With Rangers

An Italian website is saying that former Italian international Christian Vieri is weighing up a move to Loftus Road.

Vieri was released of his contract by Atalanta only yesterday but is determined to remain in football at the age of 35.

That now frees him up for a free transfer move with Italian website Sportal.it stating that American and Arab clubs are vying with Queens Park Rangers for the signature of the veteran forward.

The R`s had been previously linked with a move for the Internazionale and AC Milan forward in the summer but an audacious rumour never came to fruition.

If this had come out yesterday, I'd have put money on it being an April Fool's joke!
