Forest Back In For Camp

Rumours this morning are suggesting that Nottingham Forest are lining up a summer bid for Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Lee Camp.

Camp has been unsettled at Rangers since the start of the season when the popular stopper lost his place to Radek Cerny.

His loan to Nottingham Forest sparked a new lease of life for the Derby born keeper and he proved just as popular at the City Ground. He saved two penalties during his time in Nottingham, alleviating the pressure in their race to stay in the Championship.

This morning (Tuesday) the Daily Mirror are reporting that Forest are lining up an £800,000 bid for the unsettled stopper who will attempt to build bridges with former boss Billy Davies. The keeper fell out with the pint-size Scotsman during his time with Derby County prompting a £300,000 move to W12.

Rumours of his departure were spread like wild-fire after he gave an interview to Nottingham Forest indicating that his future may lie away from Loftus Road, and this latest rumour would suggest his days are numbered under Flavio Briatore.

He'd no doubt be the best keeper in League 1 if he actually makes the move...

Based on wot he said to me recently, I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to leave us! He wasn't with the Rs squad up at Wolves last weekend!

Nor did he travel to Burnley - Reece Crowther warmed up with Cerny then, and that was Elvijs Putnins in the warm-up against Wolves.
